Patrizia Mattei tried working in other fields, but family tradition was too strong, and 18 years later she returned to school to prepare for a career in the kitchen

Working alongside her husband Maurizio Minore and their friend Domenico Caliò- both now sommelier at the restaurant - Patrizia created a cuisine which blends tradition with creative flair, a blend which is the very essence of Antico Arco

Antico Arco offers a gastronomic experience: a chance to sample Italian cuisine which sates the appetite using ingredients sourced with the utmost care, and handled with flair and passion.

You'll be welcomed by our warm, attentive staff in a space - refurbished in August 2009 - where contemporary furnishing fit perfectly in a 19th-century structure.

Situated in the hearth of Rome on top of the Gianicolo hill - from which is possible to have a view of the entire city - Antico Arco is always open every day for lunch (12:00 / 15:00) and dinner (starting from 19.00)
